Simple Summer Tablescape

Hi Friends,

I've been crazy about tablescapes for sometime now and have wanted to be a part of that "elite" group of women who do this faithfully every week.

This is a very simple tablescape that I did this week only because I'm having to actually use our dining room table to sit and have meals at... it's that or the couch. Sometimes that just doesn't work out if you know what I mean.

We have... had a breakfast nook that we could eat our meals at, but now it's stored in the garage and a desk is in it's place so that I can work from home because of health issues.

My pictures aren't the best as I'm using the camera on my Iphone to take them.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this special day.

Hugs,
LaDonna

P.S. I'm your number one fan and read your blog faithfully.

If I didn't do something right....please forgive me I'll try and get it next time.

  2. Hi LaDonna...

Oooh...what a beautiful table, my friend! It just looks so summery with all the pretty seashells that you used to accessorize with! I also love that pretty green apple topiary and was wondering if you made it? I have used green apples in my dining room and kitchen for my spring decor this year. Love that pretty apple green color! Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful table with us! I'm sooo glad that you jumped in with the tablescaping thing...how fun!

I also wanted to thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my Tea Rose bedroom. I sooo enjoyed your visit and sweet note...thank you!

Since this was the first time that I have visited your blog, I was reading your profile. I think we have much in common, my friend! I spent many years in the ministry...a pastor's wife...and music worship leader. My first husband and I first began our ministry journey with the Assembly of God church and later built a full gospel non-denominational church. Of course, that was many years ago. I have since been remarried but my faith and love for the Lord remains strong! It's so very nice to meet you LaDonna!

    Warmest wishes,

  3. Hi Chari,
Thank you so much for your kind remarks. I consider that a compliment based on the beautiful things you do in your home.

No, I didn't make the apple topiary--I purchased it at Homegoods for $7.99 as well the placemats and cloth napkins.

It was my pleasure to visit your lovely room.

Yes,it looks like we do indeed have a lot in common.

Maybe we can chat more. I'm so glad that your faith is still strong.

Blessings to you my new friend,
    LaDonna

  5. Hi LaDonna,
Thank you for stopping by my blog for Tea Time. Your table is very pretty and I love the green apple topiary.

I always enjoy meeting my Christian sisters in blogland. I think we also may have a few things in common.
I too am a pastor's wife, {or rather was, as he is no longer in the Ministry as such}, and we pastored an independant non-denominational Full Gospel Church as well as another denimination. I was the music worship leader in the latter.

It's been very nice to 'meet' you and I am your newest follower. Wishing you a delightful weekend.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
