Pink from the past

Hi Friends,

It's Pink Saturday and I've been under the weather so I decided to highlight a few of my favorite pink things from past post.

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this fall season.   I love seeing all the pink and white pumpkins, but I stick with the traditional orange.  So, you won't find any on this post.

One of my special teacups given to me a year ago.  I think of the holidays when looking at this.  It's so rich in color and I love the flowers inside the teacup.
This bouquet was so beautiful and I appreciated the friends that honored me with it.
Another special teacup given to me a little over a year ago.
This is a Christmas ornament that was given to me by a precious woman that made an impact in my life.  She has been gone for a long time now.  She'll always stay in my heart and never forgotten.

This is one of my favorite China patterns it's called Old Country Roses. I've always admired it and hope to have it one day!

So, there you have it!  I hope you enjoyed a few of my past pinks.

It's my pleasure to join:
Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

Fall?

Hi Friends,

Hope this post finds you well and enjoying the cooler temps.

According to the calendar....Fall has arrived. We're beginning to see some relief in SW Florida.

I've noticed that the temps have cooled down a bit around the country. It has been a long hot summer. A couple of weekends ago I did some decorating and have tweaked it a bit.

We had a HL open up in our town and trust me...that is a BIG thing!  I walked in the door and was overwhelmed to say the least!

I took a pic of this tree!  So, my first blog post of the Fall season welcomes this tree.  This really doesn't do it justice but you get the idea.

This is my tablescape for the Fall season.  The tablecloth and dishware is Better Homes and Garden that I purchased a few years ago.  I've never really used them until now.

The amber globets were gifted to me. I know there vintage as well as the S&P shakers. You can see one of them to the left.

I just adore the Sunflower napkin rings I purchased at the HL last weekend at 40% off.  :)

The mums were purchased years ago.  I just dressed them up a bit with new ribbon.

Here's a close up of the Sunflower decorative plates bought at Cracker Barrel a few years ago.

I've done more fall decorating around the house and hope to show that to you soon!

Pink Precious Puppy

Dear Friends,

I know it's been almost a month since I blogged. September is here and the kids are back in school. Most folks are getting back in their routines and back from their summer trips and vacations.

My husband and I are in the ministry pastoring a church. We know people need time to getaway but we love when they all come back home in the fall, so schedules can get back to normal.

The weather has been brutal this summer and I am looking forward to cooler temps. The heat really bothers me physically as I'm dealing with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). It zaps most folks that aren't dealing with an illness!

Well, I came up with some pink to share with you this weekend. I hope you find them interesting.

It's my pleasure to join Beverly with Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound!

This is my puppy, "Precious". She's not a puppy anymore. We were sharing a pink moment!

Notice her pink ribbon!

I bought this wall hanger a few years ago. I like what it says, "I said a prayer for you today".
This candle holder started my love for Shabby Chic.
Someone recently gave me this little pink chair. Isn't it adorable? I'll share more next week on this.
This little pink dress is very special to me. Almost 29 years ago we brought home our eldest daughter home from the hospital in this sweet little dress!
To cooler days ahead!
Hugs,
LaDonna

Feeling like Aqua

Hi Everyone! This spring season I've noticed everywhere I go the stores are decorating with teal, aqua and pretty greens.  March mark...
