Greetings friends,
My hubby and I took some time last week and went to the beach for a few days for rest and relaxation, so I didn't blog. I have to tell you that while we were away... I found a local thrift store and GW. Have some nice treasures to share with you!
I'm highlighting white's & pink's in this week's entry. Hope you enjoy them.
This week I'll be joining:
Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.
Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday!
I'm so excited about this! Found these four plates at the beach thrift store for $8.00 what a deal! I didn't want to pay that much for them, infact I left them the first day, but when I got on line and saw how much replacements are...I realized what a bargain I'd found! I told my husband we HAD to go back there the next day! Yes!
Here's the backside of the plate. These were made in Portugal and are called Ingrid pink. The detailing is gorgeous! My pic's don't do them justice.
Here's another close up of the plate! This is the dinner plate too! If you click on Pink Ingrid there is a link to price replacements.
This is a view of a simple tablescape this week. I'll have to unload it for dinner tonight! :-(
A freebie from my eldest daughter...cute little ceramic trinket box.
Another great deal on my GW trip while on vacation. White creamer and sugar for .99 cents each! These are Johnson Bros made in England. I've not looked these up, but it's got to be a good deal too!
Now this tablecloth is really sweet. It reminds me of Shabby Chic. The detailing is really nice. Found it at a previous thrift store purchase for $1.00. Been waiting to use it and thought these plates would sit pretty on it!
Love this whimiscal Teapot! Thought it was so cute! Got it for a couple of dollars! More than what I wanted to spend at GW, but I NEED some teapots! LOL
Well, you have a lovely week! I"ll highlight more goodies next time!
Hugs,

WOW! LaDonna, you hit the mother lode. I am so envious of all you gals that find ANYTHING worthwhile at the GW. It would not happen here, for sure.

Hi, I'm visiting from Pink Saturday. Your table setting is lovely. I am in love with the tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteWow, you got some great deals at GW. Lately it's been "miss" at my GW, but soon, I hope, it will be a "hit" and I'll come away with some great goodies.
Have a lovely weekend,

There is a lot to be said for taking time for relaxation!
ReplyDeleteI lve all your pretty pinks and the teapot is cute as can be!
Your table settings are just magnificent! I can see why you are the"apple of his eye" and not for the settings : ) You make me want to figure what I can do for a 10'plank table. Not too ny tablecloths that long. : ( I like runners..two or 3 make it. You have a talent for the settings though. Love it! Happy Pink Saturday and thank you for visiting mine.
ReplyDeleteHi LaDonna! That is an absolutely adorable teapot!!! I really love the pink plates too. I enjoyed your two newere posts as well; your tablescape and your trip to the Trinkle Mansion. Thanks for sharing and it's good to find your site and get acquainted!
