Table Top Inspiration

Dear Friends,
It seems I have good intentions, but lately haven't been able to be part of some of the blogging parties.
Last week after seeing Marty's Tabletops I wanted to do something different and I did. I'm pleased with how my two side tables turned out.
One is more masculine for my hubby and the other more elegant, feminine for me!
The trick is keeping them looking that way! ha! If you know what I mean...
So this week I'm joining: Marty at A stroll thru Life.
and Sandy at: http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/Tea Time Tuesday.
Love & Hugs,
Hubby's side with a silver tray and other items from his dad.
My side with a lovely scarf given to me and a unique item lit up!
Close up of the purse night light! I love it!
Close up of the scarf
Another view of my side. Tea cup is Cocoa Cambria. (you might remember that from the past). Picked up a bunch of those at GW on vacation.

Sorry for the side view of the silver platter. Have this for all my hubby's remotes! How many does a guy need? LOL
Belt Buckle from his dad. (He passed away a year ago).

My favorite part of this display statue of pony on the Reader's Digest books. Loving it with the wood on the table with the silver tray.

Hope you enjoyed my vignettes! (hope that is the right word!) a new one for me!

  1. Oh how fun, I love them both. The use of the silver is perfect and the tray to hold all the remotes and guy things is such a great idea. I LOVE that purse and the scarf is such a lovely item. Great job on both. I managed to get the incorrect one deleted. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

  2. Hi LaDonna,
A belated Happy Birthday to you, my friend. Mine was the day before on New Years.
I think it's lovely to have dressed your guy's table just for him and you have your own. I've never thought of that. Great idea!Your scarf is gorgeous as is the pretty teacup! Thank you for stopping by to have tea with me today. Wishing you a lovely week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  3. What a great idea to keep all of your remotes in one place...I'm going to have to go scout out a tray to hold ours. Maybe that will keep us from constantly asking "Where's the remote?" And it will look fabulous too! Thanks for sharing the great idea. I love that little purse lamp, too. Very pretty. Have a great day!

  4. I am your newest follower! I love your use of the scarf, it adds such a soft elegant touch, yet it is casual too. I have a similar lamp, a red purse that my daughter gave me. Isn't it fun when it is turned on. I love your organization of the remotes. We can never find ours, but the kids wouldn't put it back even if it was a silver tray!!!

Feeling like Aqua

Hi Everyone! This spring season I've noticed everywhere I go the stores are decorating with teal, aqua and pretty greens.  March mark...
