Honored at Surprise Tea!

Greetings Ladies,

It's been an extremely couple of weeks for me and the calendar is still full of events for me! I wanted to share with you a special blog entry this week.

It was my pleasure to serve in a leadership position with the women of the Assemblies of God for over 10 years. I've been dealing with some health issues and resigned from this position this past April.

Because of wearing many hats my plate is quite full but have had to back off on carrying such a busy schedule. With my husband and doctor's request I've tried to do that.

I wanted to share some pictures of the lovely surprise tea in my honor! These ladies were quiet sneaky and I didn't have a clue what they were up to!

Thank you leadership ladies of section 13 for having this for me! I was overwhelmed with your love and kindness shown to me!

Special thanks to the GCAG leadership team: Cindy, Ileana, Marcia, Edie, Sue,and Tracy that planned this for months and didn't let out a peep! Love you ladies!
The tea cup above is just one of the many gifts they gave me!

I was so surprised! My hubby was in charge of getting me there! He was really ticking me off! LOL! But I forgave him afterwards!
Some of my friends that traveled just to be with me on that day!

Another pic of my surprise entrance!

Tina and I. They decorated the tables with tea cups!

A dear friend who couldn't come that day...but sent me a sweet letter!

Many of the cards I received!

Pictures of some of the ladies that attended.

A lovely tea cup!

Another lovely tea cup!

Just part of the huge bouquet they gave me! Two dozen roses!

Cocoa Cambria by Flintridge China

Greetings Ladies,

This summer my hubby and I went to Marco Island for a week get-a-away. While there I went shopping at the GW and found an incredible find!

That is what I am sharing with you this week.

I have a lot of pictures so hopefully it won't bore you! I must say this tablescape is so different from anything I've ever done, but it was fun to put together!

Cocoa Cambria cup and saucer w/ silver handle!

View of place setting. Napkins and napkin rings purchased at thrift store $1.00 and GW $1.00.

Outside of cup and saucer trimmed in Silver

Flowers inside cup

The price of all 25 pieces purchased $8.99 at GW!

Bizarre Pink Saturday

Greetings Ladies,

It's been awhile since I've had a chance to blog and I'm really desperate as you'll see for "Pink." Although there is plenty of pink in my special room...I just haven't taken any new photos.

So, I went through my pictures and this what I came up with up.

Hope you enjoy the versatile blog this week!

This tattoo is of my daughter's foot...it's a pink sparrow. (She wanted it pink).

Ugly pink shoe....but with a nest of turtle eggs. The raccoons kept digging it up. :(

Pretty pic of pink flowers in our bathroom. Same as below but a close-up.

This is in our master bathroom. It's actually wallpaper...but makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean somewhere looking out a window!

It's my pleasure to join Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

Feeling like Aqua

Hi Everyone! This spring season I've noticed everywhere I go the stores are decorating with teal, aqua and pretty greens.  March mark...
